Zebra Consultant Demonstrator Catalog Tote

March 22, 2009 at 6:50 pm (Cherie, Etsy Store, Etsybloggers, Giveaways, Sports Mom, candles, cccoe team, clovis, ca, direct selling, etsy, handmade, home business, sale, shopping, stay at home mom) (, , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , )

zebra-61Started sewing again this weekend! I had to pick up this fabric… actually I purchased the last yard and a half! I am selling this bag in my Etsy Store at http://www.craftyjuicebroker.etsy.com … I just listed it.  I was looking for a permenant job and finally found one! Now I can get back to my sewing again. Less stressed out! My Gold Canyon Candle business has been moving forward. I just recently added a new demonstrator under me. I am really excited, the bookings are happening! Yeah! My goal is to build my business with a team under me and have at least 2 bookings per week for home parties.

If you might be interested in joining my team (you can be anywhere), please visit my Gold Canyon site listed below. During the month of March, you can join and pay for your kit in 3 easy pays! And if you sell the designated amount, you won’t have to pay the other two payments. We are all looking for either a job to make money or something extra. What better way to do it if you love candles?

I don’t think this bag will last long. I can only make 2 more until they bring in the fabric again.  I love to make these catalog totes. I sell them locally to demonstrators in my area. I will also alter this bag to 2 smaller see through  pockets on the front along side the catalog see through pocket.  This bag can be made to fit any size demonstrator/consultant catalog.  Advertise your catalog in style!

I would love to know your thoughts! Have a wonderful  Sunday!

Consultant / Demonstrator Catalog Tote

March 5, 2009 at 4:33 pm (Cookie Lee Jewelry, Etsy Store, Giveaways, Gold Canyon Candles, Knitting, Monavie Juice, Softball, Sports Mom, candles, cccoe team, direct selling, facebook, handmade, home business, kids sports, sale, shopping, sports, stay at home mom) (, , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , )

Demonstrator Catalog Tote, originally uploaded by craftyjuicebrokermom.

I finally made a simple but stylish Consultant/Demonstrator Catalog Tote. I have always ordered the totes or purses from the direct selling companies but they are stiff and usually a style that I tend not to carry. I enjoy making totes to sell in my Etsy Store using tapestry material. This one is made of black smooth and soft tapestry and lined in a swirly creme and black cotton. The tote is lined with interfacing to hold it’s shape but not too stiff. It’s not bulky like other catalog totes out there on the market or on craft websites.

I have had a little time on my hands since my temporary day job ended… yes I am one of the unemployed people out there. Believe me, I am home, sending out resumes every morning. It’s tough. While I sort of have free time… I am sewing more totes to add to my Etsy Store. I also plan on booking more Gold Canyon Candle shows. Time are tough right now. I hope you like this bag… you can view at:
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=21808845

I will be posting more bags this afternoon in different styles and fabric combinations. Also, this tote can be made to showcase any size catalog you may have. Once the order is received, your tote will ship in 7-10 days.

Have a great day!

Old Friends….

February 3, 2009 at 7:27 am (facebook) (, , , , , , , , , , )

Amazing how Facebook is allowing me to connect with so many friends from years ago.  I find friends through other people… friends find me. What a great tool. Sometimes I get friend requests and have to take a second look at the photo because I don’t recognize. Thank you to the creator of Facebook! What a great way to reconnect with people who affected our lives in some way over the years. Do you have a Facebook?

2009 New Year’s Resolution…

January 14, 2009 at 6:26 am (Blog Carnival, Etsy Store, Etsybloggers, Knitting, crochet, etsy, handmade, sale)

p1010006

Well… I have been thinking this past week about my 2009 Resolution. This subject is perfect for my Blog Carnival Entry. I have had quite a few life changes in the past few months. I am just getting back to normal… making new items for my Etsy Store. I love to make handmade items and now that I have more time, well… not a lot of time but enough to get a few things completed. My resolution is to be sure that I make at least 3 new items per week. I know I can handle that. When I make a goal to get something done… I usually do it. My kids are all starting their springs sports so taking along my knitting or crocheting projects is  a must!

Let’s all make handmade in 2009!

*The item above is my lastest handmade item… I see these on women all over town!

Well… 2009 is officially here. I have been looking forward to the New Year. Too many challenges this past year. I have money in my wallet, my house is clean (not my car), I have my yarn stock, my sewing machine works, plenty of baking supplies, and my family is healthy. What more could I ask for?

I am ready to start the diet, exercise and make new handmade creations for my Etsy site (Handmades by Cherie)! I am ready! I am also offering SALE’s in my Etsy Store this week for the New Year… ! Make a post on my Facebook Page! It’s been really neat finding old friends and of course friends finding me. I am trying to remember some of them.  I even set my dad up with a facebook page.

Today we are home eating delicious treats, watching TV, playing board games (the new Monopoly has a credit card… no paper money!) and of course I am knitting and sewing today… I hope everyone is having a Happy New Year!

Don’t forget to post on my pages…  Facebook and Twitter.

I am knitting again…

December 13, 2008 at 4:34 am (Blog Carnival, Cherie, Etsy Store, Etsy Street Team, Knitting, Links... Etsy, Martha Stewart, Recipes, baking, clovis, ca, crochet, etsy, handmade, sale, shopping) (, , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , )

p1010707

Well, I’ve been really busy with work and moving lately. I haven’t had time to post on my blog! I am back… my goal is to post everyday! I am busy knitting and crocheting some orders for wrist warmers, fingerless gloves… etc. I love knitting these especially with this soy wool I stumbled upon. I love it. It is really soft and doesn’t itch at all. This pair of gloves is for my co-worker Michelle. She already has the pink pair I made (listed on my Etsy Store  Corner Lot Creations / username… craftyjuicebroker) and now I am making this pair and a blue pair for friends of hers for Christmas. Knitting is really my passion but I really love it when I can make items for other people. I have had quite a few orders on Etsy in the past few months. Knitting really helps me relax.  I especially love knitting with double points or circular needles so I can knit in the round.

p1010706

I was really shocked last night… my 16 year old daughter asked me to knit her  a couple scarves in different colors. I have been telling her for months that I would make her some but she said she doesn’t wear them. Well, I taught her how to knit about 7 years ago. I told her to pick out some Lion Brand Thick and Quick yarn from my yarn stash and grab the large needles. She gathered her items and then I told her to get started. I showed her how to get started and there she went, knitting away. She chose the Creme Ecru color. We went to pick up my younger daughter at soccer practice and then to Costco. She took her knitting with her and knitted her scarf while waiting. She finished the scarf last night and used it today at school. I was so proud of her and really excited that she is interested in another hobby of mine! Now, she has friends who are requesting she make them one too. At least now I will not be the only crazy knitter in this house! I will start baking this weekend so you will see some yummy photos and recipes over the weekend. I hope everyone has a great Holiday weekend…. knit on and happy shopping and selling on Etsy!

Oh yeah… I have 1/2 price items listed in my Etsy Store… come check them out!
